Playstation 3 final release date announced.

Sony introduced the BRAVIA Z5500

As it became known, today Sony has officially unveiled a new series of LCD TVs from the BRAVIA family, Z5500, writes Slash Gear. If you believe the famous Japanese company, these are the best models in its model range in image quality. So far, there are three models in this series, and they have a screen size of 40, 46 and 52 inches diagonally. All three support MotionFlow 200 Hz and Image Blur Reduction. In addition, they are able to work in networks DNLA (Digital Living Alliance Network) and are equipped with an Ethernet port. By the way, they are able to receive and transmit streaming video and audio.

It is worth noting that the technology MotionFlow 200 Hz counts and creates three artificial images and inserts them to the original. Then, the final image is smoothed using Image Blur Reduction technology, so models from the BRAVIA Z5500 series have a very smooth and sharp image. Among other design features of the BRAVIA Z5500, you can also mention the AppliCast function, which allows you to receive news via RSS channels, various widgets (mini-applications), including a calculator, a clock displaying time in different time zones of the world, a photo frame, and BRAVIA functions Sync and Energy Saving Switch. Like all the latest Sony BRAVIA LCD TVs, the models from the Z5500 series use the XrossMediaBar user interface, which PlayStation 3 owners are already familiar with.

By the way, according to Sony, models from the Z5500 series consume 25-35 percent less energy than similar models released in 2008.

On the cost and availability of BRAVIA Z5500 yet not a word.
