Sharp introduced the line of Internet TVs - AQUOS D today in Japan. The new series has support for Yahoo's video service and connects directly to online channels via the built-in Ethernet port. The new series also features panels with a resolution of 1080p, a frequency of 120 Hz and a dynamic contrast ratio of 15,000: 1.
The series contains 4 TVs with a screen diagonal of 32, 40, 46 and 52 inches. All TVs are equipped with built-in 20-watt and three HDMI inputs. Official prices have not been announced, but it is known that they will vary from $ 2,052 for a 32-inch model to $ 4,618 for a top-end 52-inch model. All TVs will be on sale in Japan on 10 June. Dates of European and American releases are still unknown.
