Sony is preparing a replacement for the PSP

According to Eurogamer, Sony is actively preparing a replacement for the PlayStation Portable. At the same time, the well-known portal referred to sources close to the famous Japanese company.

We are talking about two versions of the PSP - PSP4000 and PSP2. If the first is a deeply modernized version of the current model, the second will receive a completely different design and will relate to the new generation of PSP. By the way, the PSP4000 will appear pretty soon. According to unconfirmed data, this portable game console will appear in 2009. As for the PSP2, then we will have to wait, since according to Sony's plan, it will be released only in 2010 or even in 2011.

Sony’s response to such claims is zero so far: neither yes nor no. But apparently, the Japanese giant is really preparing something.
