Playstation 3 final release date announced.

Samsung has shown a super slim plasma TV

Samsung officially unveiled its latest plasma TV - 850 PAVV. This model has a very slim body and low power consumption, writes Slash Gear. Perhaps these are the main design features of this plasma TV from South Korea.

As stated, the thickness of 850 PAVV is only 29 cm. In addition, the new product fully complies with the specification of Full HD (1080p) and can play DivX video. According to Samsung, it is 20 percent lighter and consumes 40 percent less energy than previous models. Nevertheless, its weight still amounts to 26 kg, but you must admit, for a plasma TV with a screen size of 50 inches is the norm. Other design features include the Full HD Crystal Engine technology, DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) support and 120 Hz screen refresh technology.

In fact, we can say that the 850 PAVV is a whole series, if only because Samsung has prepared another version with a large screen size - 58 cm. Although the South Korean company did not go into details, she said that this model is 50 percent thinner than models from the previous series and weighs 36 kg.

As we can see, 850 PAVV can be called one of the thinnest plasma TVs in the world at the moment. Unfortunately, not a word about the cost and availability of this model.
