LG launched its "Super TV" on sale

According to Slash Gear, today LG Electronics has officially launched the sale of its “Super Televisions” from the Scarlet LH70 series. So far it is represented by only 4 models with a screen size of 47, 42, 37 and 32 inches diagonally. All models have very thin cases, and according to LG, their thickness is only 39.7 mm on low-end models and 40.9 mm on high-end models, respectively.

It is also worth noting that all the above models support Bluetooth, DivX, and have a record high dynamic contrast ratio of 10.000.000: 1. Among other design features of the LH70, you can highlight the screen refresh rate of 120 Hz, the response time of 2 ms, and the so-called Color Decanting technology, which automatically adjusts the screen brightness depending on the background lighting. As explained by LG Electronics, all models in this series have miniature sensors that automatically detect any changes in the background lighting in order to choose the optimal screen brightness. This technology, according to South Koreans, can significantly reduce the energy consumption of TVs and improve the image quality on LCD panels such as XCanvas.

In addition, Scarlet LH70 TVs are equipped with USB ports and built-in Bluetooth modules, so that they can easily and quickly connect external drives and even wireless headphones that support the A2DP standard.

The highest model in this series, 47-inch, costs about 1,848 US dollars, and the price of 42-, 37- and 32-inch models will be 1386, 1254 and 957 US dollars.
