Playstation 3 final release date announced.

Hitachi has updated the ranks of its HDTV

As it became known, yesterday Hitachi presented to the general public 11 new flat-panel TVs, including 4 models from the Wooo UT800 series, writes Electronista. At the moment, these are the thinnest LCD TVs in the model range of the Japanese company, and their maximum thickness does not exceed 3.6 cm.

To achieve this, Hitachi experts resorted to tricks and equipped models from the Wooo UT800 series with an external tuner. His name is Wooo Station. It connects to the display via a wireless connection. In addition, the Wooo Station still has an internal hard disk drive of 250 GB, an expansion slot for SDHC memory cards, and iDVR-S for removable digital recorders. Televisions support 1080p resolution and have a brightness of 500 nits. Other design features include a 120 Hz screen refresh rate and a built-in sensor located on the front panel. In theory, it should automatically adjust the brightness of the display depending on the background lighting. Moreover, Wooo UT800 can still record TV shows in HD resolution or download content from the Web. By the way, all four models in this series are equipped with two tuners, and they know how to work on the Yahoo network. Each panel has 1 HDMI input and 1 D4, but let's not forget that the external tuner, the Wooo Station, has 3 HDMI inputs, 2 DR, 1 Composite and 3 analog inputs, as well as optical and HDMI outputs. Models in this series have a screen size of 32, 37, 42 and 47 inches diagonally.

The Wooo 03 series is represented by 4 plasma and 4 LCD TVs, and the most senior model of them is the P50-XP03. As you might guess, its screen size is 50 inches. The TV supports 1080p resolution and fully complies with all requirements of the Full HD specification. As for LCD TVs, they have a screen size of 32 to 42 inches, but only older models support Full HD resolution. Note that all models have a built-in 250 GB hard disk drive, iDVR and SDHC connectors.

The rest of the models (seven of them!) Can boast the function of automatic control of the brightness and color of the image, as well as the Eco-View mode, which displays the duration of each session.

As expected, deliveries of models from the Wooo UT800 series are scheduled for October. Their prices will vary in the range of 2400-4300 US dollars. LCD TVs from the Wooo 03 series will go on sale April 24, and plasma panels will go on sale in May. Their cost is from 2000 to 3000 US dollars.
