Cinema owners continue to fight Google Glass

Владельцы кинотеатров продолжают бороться с Google Glass

Google's smart glasses have added a lot of headaches to the lives of movie theater owners around the world. After all, some pirates began to use an expensive gadget in order to make screen copies of fresh blockbusters imperceptibly for the administration of cinema halls.

The first alarm sounded the owners of British cinemas. Back in June, there was a ban on the use of Google Glass while watching movies. Now panic got to the United States. Only this time, not only Google glasses, but also any other wearable electronics that are capable of video recording are banned.

Two major American companies, the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) and the National Association of Theater Owners (NATO), announced on the introduction of a ban on any kind of wearable gadgets, through which pirates can steal new movies right from the screens of cinema halls.

Previously, both of these companies were very positive about the introduction of new technologies in their cinemas. As for the technical revolution in the field of wearable devices - they turned out to be a nightmare for cinema owners.

From now on, if any of the viewers will be convicted of using recording wearable electronics during a film show, the administration will have every right to call the police and bring the violator to justice for his actions.

The ban on wearable electronics has not yet reached our country, but the use of any recording equipment in the cinema is strictly prohibited and is also prosecuted. Whether wearable gadgets can be attributed to such equipment is a difficult question to answer which only professional lawyers can answer us.
