According to information published on the Gamasutra portal, Oculus VR executive Brendan Ireib told reporters that his company had fully paid for the development of more than 20 video games from various developers.
“We have invested serious money in the development of high-budget games from third-party studios, as well as in support of our own studio, Oculus Studios,” he told the press.
As an example of one of these games can be cited Edge's of Nowhere from the studio Insomniac. The fact that this game is developed from the perspective of a third person, and not from the first, as we used to see VR entertainment, is amazing.
