Funded by the Kickstarter community, the Beam allows you to watch movies, play games and surf the Internet on the ceiling, wall and even the kitchen table.

The Beam projector is controlled by the Android operating system, on the basis of which most modern smartphones operate. This means that with it you can continue to use your favorite applications, which can now be run on any convenient for viewing surface. Apple users will also be happy to know that the gadget supports iPhone with a special application.

Beam Labs suggests using the Beam to watch television on the ceiling in the bedroom, design recipes for a work surface in the kitchen, create board games or turn walls into digital pictures.

With regard to technical characteristics, the resource lamp projector Beam is 20 thousand hours. The device itself is equipped with a 2-core processor with a clock frequency of 1.3 GHz, an internal storage of 8 GB and two speakers with a capacity of 2 watts each.

The device can be configured to automatically turn on at a user-defined time, for example, for waking up in the morning using the weather forecast or notifying you of updates on social networks when you return home from work.

The Beam has a miniature Android computer with support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, which allows you to control it using a computer mouse or smartphone. The resolution of the projected image is 854 x 480. If the financing of the project is successful, then the guys promise to increase the number of pixels.

Meanwhile, the project has already collected more than half a million dollars - almost three times more declared amount .
