Players can find a job in the profession of a doctor, trainer, military man, journalist and even a farmer, play sports - sounds like the real life of a successful person. Everything can be accessed in the side menu.
Or open their own companies so that they do not work "on their uncle", but engage in real business. To extract resources? Easily. Produce consumer goods? Easily.
But all this would not be so interesting without the additional "chips" that the developers have prepared for us.
Bandit serials of the 90s about the hard life of the mafia and gangs rest - in VirCities joking and showing mercy will not be: fierce seizures of quarters, close-knit bands, ranks, weapons - there is not enough, perhaps, the local "Don Corleone" (however, they can become you). The fights are so fascinating that in battles you want to participate again and again.
The main feature of VirCities is a real political process. Elections of deputies and the mayor, the party system, the media, which have a direct impact on the results of elections, as in real life. Do not forget about the relationship between politicians, companies and entire cities - throughout the game you work closely with other players. The economy is as close to real conditions as possible, so in the future some experience can be applied in reality.
The game is based on the ideas of mobile networking: it lacks NPCs, and gamers have to interact with each other, rather than act on a pre-designed template. Everything happens suddenly and realistically: if you became a mayor, then thousands of people actually voted for you.
VirCities is truly a unique game in its genre. Developers collected the best practices used in browser strategies, and enriched them with their ideas. What in the end? Half of the editorial board struggles to break away from the gameplay. Such are the cases.
