The LEGO constructor is a wonderful thing. From it you can do almost anything you want, so the fans of this designer constantly learn something new, interesting and cool. Here, for example, have a look! The guy with the nickname ShineYu took and made a smart copy of the Liebherr LTM 1350 6.1 truck crane.

The crane weighs almost 11 kilograms, the speed of the car is 11 centimeters per second. The width of the car is 18 centimeters, the length is a meter, the height is 28 centimeters, and the boom of the crane can be stretched up to two meters!

The mobile crane is driven by a series of motors, with the help of two it can turn. The booth with the boom is also motorized. At first, ShineYu had difficulties with the power-driven boom.

When he first started working on the crane lifting gear, it seemed to him that the solutions offered by LEGO are not the best option.

Therefore, he bought in the radio shop the most reliable, as it seemed to him, a ready-made mechanism from a third-party manufacturer. Later it was found out that the lift can not cope with large loads, and the design does not stand up.

Then the support mechanism was finalized, and the elevator had to be equipped with a more powerful and independently improved XL-motor LEGO. Initially, the crane could lift only 300 grams, but now that the designer has improved the design, Liebherr LTM quietly copes with loads up to two kilograms. See how the mobile crane without problems raises the fifteen-inch Macbook Pro, you can on video.
