An enterprising resident of London opened a restaurant where everything from plates and cutlery to the food itself is printed on 3D printers. Indeed, who wants to bathe, preparing food, if everything can be done for you by the machine?
Star Trek fans, who are already probably dreaming of imagining a restaurant kitchen equipped with replicators, should, like your humble servant, come down to the ground a little. Our technologies have not been lying around with those that will appear on the Enterprise ship in the future, so modern cooks of Restaurant Ink have to be content with a special device called byFlow.
With his help, the cook can make really cool dishes, preloading pasty ingredients there. For example, hummus, chocolate mousse, mashed potatoes, minced meat or something else tasty. The principle of work byFlow is also simple - the device is similar to an automated confectionery syringe that prints dishes from the grinded ingredients, checking with the three-dimensional "recipes" that are fed to the machine from the computer.
Someone will say that the food is better prepared in the old manner, using the technologies and appliances familiar to all, but the restaurant Food ink, in the opinion of its owner Anthony Drbrzenski, is called to serve a high goal. Thanks to the dishes that are served there, visitors will be able to learn more about dynamically developing modern technologies and amazing possibilities of 3D printing.
