George Lucas will build a museum in Los Angeles worth a billion dollars

The creator of the universe of Star Wars, George Lucas, finally decided on the city in which the construction of his personal museum would begin. From the press release published this week it became clear that this place will become Los Angeles, and to be even more accurate - the park is located in this city. Earlier, George Lucas also considered the option of placing the museum in San Francisco, but, apparently, this city did not suit him with something. A grandiose project, according to experts, will cost investors more than one billion dollars.

"We were sincerely touched by the support of the leadership of both cities, which they rendered to us in the process of choice. The decision was very difficult, because both of these places we really like, "- says a press release published on behalf of the board of directors of the future museum of Lucas.

Exposition Park is a real magnet for Los Angeles guests, so this choice was quite predictable from the commission. It is easily accessible from almost anywhere in the city, which is also an incomparable plus. Also around the park are located more than 100 different schools, many large universities and three world-class museums. After the construction site was chosen, the organization proceeds to agree on the architectural plans and the selection of contractors for the implementation of an ambitious project. For the appearance of the building meets the Chinese architect Ma Yansong. 1500 specialists will be involved in the construction.

The museum of narrative art (and this is how it will be called) should become the place where the scenery of George Lucas's cult films, various props from the shooting, rare photos and pictures will be concentrated.
