Surely many, especially Russian readers, will agree that a party does not have enough strong drinks, and beer, and in a friendly and pleasant company can in itself bring a lot of joy and fun. But after all, this does not stop the modern technologies that allow you to make joy and fun even brighter. For example, the company Heineken presented “Ignite” - a new and at the same time usual beer bottle at first glance. But only at first glance, because the new bottle uses light indicators and wireless sensors that illuminate the container during toasts and allow it to glow in time with the music.

Heineken decided to engage in the development of Ignite as part of an experiment to enhance social communication during the consumption of the intoxicating drink through the use of modern technologies. The task of the project, which brought together several designers from various industries, was the creation of a concept bottle for the 10-week period, which could even more brighten up an already dull (or boring) evening.

Each such “smart bottle” can be illuminated with bright light, thanks to 3D printing technology and the presence at the bottom of a special compartment for installing electronic components, which include 8 light indicators, an 8-bit processor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a battery and a wireless transceiver with an antenna. All this is gathered together on a small printed circuit board with a size slightly larger than a two-coin coin. In this case, the effect becomes much more noticeable when the bottle is full.

Due to the presence of all these electronic components, the bottle can “behave” differently. Lightly knock them together and they will light up with light, you will begin to empty it and the bottle will flash rapidly, put the bottle on the table and it will go out. Moreover, the light intensity can be adjusted remotely and even synchronize the light to the beat of the currently playing melody.

They decided to hold a party with bottles of "Ignite" as part of the concept of "Lounge of the Future", which was timed to the Fashion Week in Milan. Only 200 such funny “lighters” were brought to the party, and, unfortunately, the company did not share plans for their further release.

All, of course, good. Just do not forget that excessive consumption of beer can harm your health.
